21 Feb Integrated Dermatology Group Expands Its Presence In Maryland
Robert S. Berger, M.D. Named Medical Director of Integrated Dermatology of White Plains, LLC / Charles County Dermatology Associates
BOCA RATON, Fla. – (February 21, 2017) Integrated Dermatology Group (IDG), a leading national dermatology practice, has expanded its presence in Maryland by partnering with Dr. Robert S. Berger. Dr. Berger will serve as Medical Director of the practice known as Integrated Dermatology of White Plains, LLC / Charles County Dermatology Associates.
Dr. Berger is a board certified dermatologist, graduating from Boston College and New York Medical College. He completed his Internship at Washington Hospital Center and served as a United States Air Force Flight Surgeon before completing his Dermatology Residency at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center in San Antonio. While practicing in Waldorf, Maryland, Dr. Berger was recalled to active duty, serving as an Air Force dermatologist during Desert Storm. Afterwards, he joined the faculty at Johns Hopkins, where he received teaching awards and is currently Assistant Professor. Dr. Berger devised nationwide protocols for acne treatment using an intense pulse light device and brings over 37 years of experience to IDG.
“By partnering with or selling to IDG, the dermatologist can focus on providing high-quality patient care while IDG manages the practice infrastructure and back-office operations, ensuring best clinical practices and patient outcomes,” said Jeff Queen, co-CEO of Integrated Dermatology Group.
“For dermatologists who want to monetize all of their practices’ value, IDG has a program allowing them the opportunity to do so. These dermatologists are able to continue practicing dermatology while accruing additional income from the practice,” said Andrew Queen, co-CEO of Integrated Dermatology Group.
IDG is continuing a systematic expansion. The White Plains announcement comes on the heels of recent announcements of its acquisition in Virginia Beach, Virginia (Integrated Dermatology of Tidewater, LLC) and Chevy Chase, Maryland (Integrated Dermatology of Chevy Chase, LLC).
