BOCA RATON, Fla.  — Integrated Dermatology, the largest independent dermatology practice in the United States, expanded its presence in Washington, D.C. with the addition of Foxhall Dermatology.  Integrated Dermatology Partner Todd Perkins, M.D. joins Susan Elliott, M.D. at the practice on Massachusetts Avenue.

A third-generation Washingtonian, Dr. Susan Elliott attended the Holton-Arms School and graduated from Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School. She completed undergraduate studies at Bucknell University  before earning an M.S. in Biochemistry and an M.D. at George Washington University, where she was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society and valedictorian of her medical school class. Dr. Elliott completed her internship and dermatology residency at the University of Oregon. Her dermatological interests include immunologic aspects of atopic eczema and the effects of retinoids on skin disease.

Dr. Todd Perkins is also a native Washingtonian. He received his B.A. in Political Economy from Tulane University, graduated with honors with his medical degree from Hahnemann University, and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society. Completing his residency at Rush Medical Center in Chicago, Dr. Perkins served as the Chief Resident in Dermatology. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and the Board of National Medical Examiners. Dr. Perkins is an advisor to several medical companies, and he trains physicians both locally and nationally on the proper use of several advanced medical treatments.

“I chose to partner with Integrated Dermatology, first at our I Street location and now on Massachusetts Ave., because of their reputation for giving their physician partners autonomy. I continue to have the freedom to practice medicine the way I choose,” said Dr. Todd Perkins.

“I am thrilled to have Dr. Perkins and Dr. Elliottas partners as we grow our presence in the Washington D.C. area. We’ll manage the business side of the practice, freeing our physician partners to do what only they can do – offer great patient care,” said Jeff Queen, co-CEO of Integrated Dermatology.

“We are dedicated to the health and well-being of our patients, and we are fortunate to have Drs. Perkins and Elliott as partners, exceptional physicians who are so familiar with the Foxhall community” said Andrew Queen, co-CEO of Integrated Dermatology.
